Musk: USAID funded biological weapons research, including Covid-19
The billionaire called the agency a "criminal organization" and a "nest of radical left-wing Marxist vipers who hate America."
American entrepreneur Elon Musk has accused the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) of funding biological weapons research, including a laboratory linked to the spread of Covid-19.
"Did you know that USAID, with your tax dollars, funded biological weapons research, including Covid-19, which killed millions of people?" the tycoon wrote on his social media, calling the agency a "nest of radical left-wing Marxist vipers who hate the US."

The billionaire retweeted a post that USAID had invested $53 million in the EcoHealth Alliance, which used the funds to support research into the functions of the coronavirus in a Wuhan laboratory.
Commenting on the news, Musk denounced that USAID has also been paying media outlets to publish its propaganda. He also responded to some posts that claim that the agency is financing heroin production in Afghanistan.
“USAID is a criminal organization. It’s time for it to die,” the businessman said in another post. The report cited by Musk also states that “USAID has been repeatedly linked to intelligence activities” and even that its former director once admitted that it was “infiltrated by CIA people from top to bottom” to “implant agents in every type of activity” abroad: “governmental, voluntary, religious, you name it.” The report also notes that “USAID has been linked to coups in Haiti, Ukraine, Egypt, and other countries.”
Shortly afterward, it emerged that Musk-owned social network X removed the agency’s account from the platform.
